zig123  > Other > Cape Cod throughout the Seasons
The beauty of Cape Cod doesn't end when Labor Day arrives and the summer visitors go back home to resume their daily lives. The beauty of Cape Cod is still here it just takes on a different look, feel and tone. The pace is more measured and the roads are easier to navigate. The startling Fall colors are left to be enjoyed by the residents and the 'seasoned' visitors who have been here before and know just how beautiful Cape Cod can be. Throughout the Winter and into Spring there is lots to see and enjoy and best of all, we have it all to ourselves.
The following are some of my favorite photographs taken in the offseason. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

The Chatham Light is properly dressed for Christmas.
Regardless of the season, there is plenty to see at the Canal. This 7mile long stretch of water separating the mainland from the Cape is a busy thoroughfare for Tugs towing barges, sailboats and all manner of watercraft. There are bicycle paths on both sides of the canal that stretch from Monument Beach to Scussett Beach.
The Cape Cod Orchid Society display their prize possessions at the Orchid Show held each year in January. This years show is being held at the Conference Center in Hyannis January 28th and 29th.
